Hi, my name is Rachel…

Scorpio Sun, Aries Moon, Capricorn Rising.

I’m in my early 40’s and live in Virginia with my textbook Aries husband, my kitties, and any critters who will accept my bids for friendship. I’m a practicing witch, intuitive reader, maker, and teacher. I support independent artists, and music is my life’s blood. I fell in love with Tarot when my grandma gave me my first deck around the age of 9. I always enjoyed reading for myself, but didn’t learn that I had a gift for reading for others until young adulthood. I’ve spent the last 20 years since then learning how to interpret the deep symbolism of the cards, their direct connections with astrology, and how to rely on my intuition and my guides to provide meaningful and impactful readings to friends and strangers alike.

In the summer of 2025, I was laid off from a 15 year career as a corporate IT consultant and trainer, during a time when many were losing their employment, and after some soul searching (and more than a couple of “Tower moments”) I realized it was time to use my deepest love - Tarot - to help others out there in the world, and see if a different path might be possible for me.

I believe that Tarot is just as much a therapeutic tool as it is a way to peer into what’s further down the path we’re currently on. Because of my lifelong personal connection to using the cards for self-discovery and introspection, as well as my background in teaching, I am passionate about educating alongside my readings. My approach is to walk you through the symbolism behind the cards, while sharing my own intuitive interpretations as they relate to your specific inquiry or area of focus. This allows you to also apply the symbolism using your own intuition, which will often make the reading even more beneficial to you, and empower you to pick up your own deck.

I also really enjoy sewing, creating, spellcrafting… so I will always have handmade witchy goodies in my shop (and for gifts to tarot club members, too!).
